What you will love about this home

Our home is on the top floor of a charming building constructed in 1910. Our unit is one of six on our floor.

We have a comfortable and cozy living space that receives direct sunlight and has a couch, chair, and TV.

We have an antique kitchen table with four chairs and lots of books! We also have guitars and a bass that you can play and a stand-up desk from which you can work.

French doors lead to an office space with a loveseat hide-a-bed. There’s a full bathroom off the office.

The bedroom with the queen bed is to your left upon entering the unit, and a full bathroom (pink and with retro flair) is just out the bedroom.

The kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, microwave, large oven, and a smaller counter oven.

What you will love about this neighborhood

The diverse neighborhood of Columbia Heights features a lively farmer’s market each Saturday, the well-known Gala Hispanic Theater, and cuisines from across the world, including Ethiopian, Laotian, Mexican, Vietnamese, and Salvadoran restaurants.

The condo is a ten-minute walk from the Columbia Heights metro station, a less than 10-minute walk to three grocery stores, and a five-minute walk from an entrance to Rock Creek Park, the largest city park in the United States. The Park has great hiking trails, as well as picnic areas and a walking- and biking-only street.

If you're coming by car, there are several options for street parking. The first is that we can get you a guest permit to park where there are green and white signs (We’d just need your car’s license plate number and the state it’s registered in). We can handle that on our end for you, but here’s more information on it for your awareness: https://dmv.dc.gov/service/visitor-parking-permits.

Additionally/alternatively, the phone app ”Street Angels” lists blocks where you can park on the street for free.

We don’t have an allocated parking space, unfortunately.
