What you will love about this home
The Theodore Parker Robinson home was built in 1887 and is located in the historic Meriam Hill community in Lexington. The home was fully and lovingly renovated in 2014. Meriam Hill rises behind the town center however is very private with minimal traffic. Views from the back of the home are magnificent looking east towards Boston. The home is bathed in sunlight from sunrise through the day. A continuous deck runs along three sides of the home and are prefect for entertainment.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Lexington is known as the Birthplace of American Liberty where the first shots of the war of independence were fired in 1775. The town maintains many historical monuments associated with the revolutionary war and has a newly opened interpretative center Meriam Hill is a historic district with many homes dating to the 19th - early 20th century that are lovingly maintained. A walk to the town center is an easy 5 minutes.
The town has is quintessential New England with a central commons surrounded by churches, museums and library. A dedicated bike path allows one to cycle into Cambridge and Boston or out to Concord and open countryside. Public transport from the town center provides access to Cambridge and Boston. Many miles of trails through the parks and natural preserves in Lexington are a 5 minutes walk from home.
