What you will love about this home
House built in 2024, we love it, and we love Lancieux!
The house is independent, very bright, and warm.
### Ground floor:
- Comfortable living-dining area with large bay windows facing south and east, smart TV
- Spacious, well-equipped kitchen, laundry room
- Master bedroom (160 cm bed) with a glass door opening onto the garden, smart TV, walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom, and separate toilet
- Office/guest room with a sofa bed and glass door
It is possible to exchange only the ground floor, depending on the number of people (of course, points will be reduced in case of a non-reciprocal exchange – against GP).
### Upper floor:
- Two teenage bedrooms with 140 cm beds, each with a glass door (leading to a terrace yet to be furnished); one room has a smart TV
- Bathroom and separate toilet
As of January 2025, the outdoor spaces are still being landscaped. The street-side fence is installed, some plants have been added, and a large gravel terrace is already in place, providing a nice spot for barbecues.
Two garden sheds. Two parking spaces in the driveway.
Bikes, board games, books, inflatable kayak… The equipment will continue to evolve by summer and as we move in full-time.

What you will love about this neighborhood
Lancieux is a charming seaside village located in the heart of the Emerald Coast in Brittany, offering a unique holiday experience between land and sea. We live in a quiet neighborhood, where everything can be enjoyed on foot or by bike.
A few good reasons to visit Lancieux:
Beautiful beaches: The town has no fewer than 8 different beaches, each with its own charm and fine sand. At high tide, enjoy swimming; at low tide? Go shellfish gathering! All the beaches are approximately 1 to 2 km away, easily accessible on foot or by bike.
A paradise for water sports: Lancieux is a renowned spot for maritime sports lovers. You can enjoy kitesurfing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing or dinghy sailing, land sailing, canoeing… The spot is accessible in all weather conditions and at any tide.
Historical heritage: The village is full of historical treasures such as the 16th-century Buglais windmill. Wander through the old town's alleys, discover fishermen’s houses, traditional long stone houses, and the 18th-century bell tower.
Plenty of activities: 9-hole golf course, horseback riding, hiking on the GR34 coastal path, skate park, city park, tennis… There’s no shortage of things to do!
Shops: Lancieux has all the local shops you need: bakery, butcher, pastry shop, cheesemonger, pharmacy, restaurants, a Tuesday morning market… and plenty of summer activities.
Lancieux offers a refreshing holiday between unspoiled nature, water sports, and true Breton authenticity!
But that’s not all! You can easily reach by car or bike:
Saint-Briac (2 km): a very charming village with stone houses, the Nessay castle, and a renowned 18-hole golf course (Dinard Golf, the 2nd oldest in France, with sea views on every hole).
Saint-Lunaire (6 km): perfect for walks and surfing on the beach.
Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer (9 km): from there, you can reach the little paradise of the Ébihens, a tidal island accessible on foot at low tide.
A bit further away, here are some ideas for activities and day trips:
Bowling, cinemas, escape rooms, supermarkets and shops (less than 10 minutes by car).
Dinard with its beautiful British-style villas (10 min).
Saint-Malo, the famous corsair city (15 min).
Dinan, the medieval town on the Rance river (25 min).
Cap Fréhel, a must-see with spectacular cliffs and breathtaking views (35 min).
The mythical Mont Saint-Michel (50 min).
You can even take a day trip to Jersey Island in England (1h15 ferry from St Malo). A national ID card is enough for a same-day return trip.
Transport: Saint-Malo TGV station is 20 min away, Rennes airport 1 hour. A car is recommended to move around once you're there.
In short, there are activities for all ages and interests: hiking along the GR trail, water sports, golf, cultural visits, regional food and specialties, museums... The only risk? Not having enough time!
