What you will love about this home
Amazing ski condo with incredible "cabin - chic" architecture and stunning views in quiet residential building. Dramatic yet cozy, comfy condo with open loft master bedroom. Views to east sunrise on Rabbit Ears Pass, south to Lake Catamount, western alpenglow at sunset.
Main level has comfy leather couch with two ottomans, recliner chair, large flat screen TV w fast internet and Youtube TV service, dining nook, desk space, modern kitchen w large pantry, in-unit washer dryer in small laundry room, powder room, drop down twin Murphy bed hidden in cabinet beyond kitchen "pass thru."
Master is open loft overlooking living room. King bed and loveseat w large ottoman. Has incredible views, large screen wall-mounted tv on swing arm can be seen from bed and loveseat. Private bathroom has rain shower, no tub.
Third level is finished attic space, full height, accessed only by a sturdy ladder. Ladder requires careful use at renter's risk and has 200 lb weight limit. Room has queen Murphy bed, TV. Not suitable for full-time live-in use due to the inconvenience of ladder. This "bonus" area is good for occasional guests, work area, getaway, Because of open loft master, the condo is not suitable for a longer stay "roommate" situation due to lack of privacy and movement of sound throughout the unit.
Stairs, hallways and elevator needed to get to the unit on top (fourth floor) west end of building. This is an end unit with only one common wall.
Ski locker off building lobby area. Small gym w TVs on third floor Unassigned outdoor parking. Common room near unit with pool table, bar, microwave, dining table, comfy couches that is rarely occupied. It's a good "getaway" area.
Nearby "Steamboat Hot Springs" is a recreational complex offering good Apres-ski relaxation in multiple hot tubs fed by local water from local hot springs, swimming pool, gym, snack bar, exercise classes. Short term memberships available including senior and couples discounts.
Ideal renter will be single or a couple sharing the master bedroom. No pets.

What you will love about this neighborhood
10 minutes drive to Steamboat Ski Resort. 12 minute drive to downtown Steamboat. Quiet location on edge of town, away from crowds and traffic. Surrounded by hills and nature, overlooking lake. Summer views from condo are truly stunning. Steamboat is a bustling winter and summer resort town with endless daily activities and many weekend festival type events. All winter sports including world class skiing. The town has a river running through it and restaurants overlooking the river with larger patios enjoyable in summer and fall. All manner of hiking, biking, fishing, cultural events abound. Endless restaurants and cute shops. Rental bikes and e-bikes available as well as rental river tubing. w return service are popular as well as mearby short hike to waterfall.

Drawbacks to condo that potential guests should know about and consider -
1. long walk including 3 half-flights of stairs, elevator and two corridors from parking lot to unit.
2. No AC. "Swamp coolers" provided.
3. Flies are common in this part of Colorado and can be found in the unit (usually dead).
4. Not suitable for roommates as master is open loft and does not have sound privacy.
5. Not suitable for roommates as second bedroom is accessed by ladder and not designed for full-time occupancy. Fine for short stays.
6. An elevator is needed to get part-way to unit. In the event of elevator malfunction, guest would be inconvenienced by having to walk up a short road outside of the building.
