What you will love about this home
Our home is in a three apartment building on the ground floor. Most of the rooms are on the ground floor with a bedroom and full bath semi-below ground. We have a small yard directly off our patio with large garden boxes where I grow many vegetables, herbs and berries. We recently renovated half the apartment and have a brand new kitchen/appliances, and flooring. The bathrooms are not renovated (that's next on the list!). We have a new wood burning fireplace as well! Our home is simply furnished and has a warm feel with lots of carpets. We are a child friendly home with beds, bedding, toys, plates etc. The kids room is not currently set up with a toddler bed, but can be upon request. As of now it's a playroom with a very comfy queen pull out couch.
What you will love about this neighborhood
We live within a 7 minute walk from large wooded hills with many popular bike and hiking paths, and a 2 minute walk to beautiful fields with walking paths, horses and cows. The neighbours are very friendly it is a quiet area. We live a short 20 minute drive from Frankfurt and within 1-2 hours of many beautiful German cities and towns. The old town in our town is picturesque and hosts many festivals and events, as do all the neighbouring old towns within 20 minutes drive. There is always something to do! There are many castles and ruins to explore nearby.
Additional information
Our car can be borrowed after some conversations with the incoming guests, if it feels comfortable with both parties. We have car seats for kids. There are SO many wonderful kids activities nearby (amusement parks, zoo, library, cafe with toys) as well as playgrounds. Our office room with be closed off and not accessible for use. Our yard is also technically shared with the 2nd floor neighbours but they rarely come down to use it, and if they do, it's just to tend to their veggie box.
