Our house is a charming historic house from the 1920s in the heart of Bruges, a stone's throw from the city's most famous sights. It basically consists of 2 houses that we have turned into 1 spacious house. This beautifully preserved house combines classic Flemish architecture with modern comfort, offering a unique and cozy experience in one of Europe's most picturesque cities.
The house features:
Spacious living room: a welcoming living room with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Comfortable seating and tasteful decor create a warm atmosphere to relax after a day of exploring the city.
Fully equipped kitchen: a modern kitchen with all the amenities you need to prepare meals, including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction hobs, toaster, coffee maker and a charming dining area, perfect for enjoying your culinary creations.
Since our house is located in the city center, you can even have your breakfast/lunch/dinner delivered to your door by one of the many delivery services such as https://deliveroo.be/nl/ ; https://www.takeaway.com/be/ or https://www.ubereats.com/be-nl. Bruges is a culinary gem with many restaurants and cafés, definitely worth discovering for its vibrant and tasteful offering.
Bedrooms: Two well-appointed bedrooms, each with comfortable beds, quality linen and ample storage space. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet, while the other room has 2 comfortable single beds that are placed next to each other, but can also be separated. Ideal for a couple or a family with 2 children!
Bathrooms: Two modern bathrooms, one with a bath-shower combination, the other is en-suite with a walk-in shower and toilet. There is a third bathroom with a shower and toilet close to the garden. Both are equipped with fresh towels, toiletries and a hairdryer.
Private garden: A peaceful private garden of 100 m² in the middle of the old city center with a terrace and patio, perfect for an al fresco breakfast or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening.
Prime location: Situated in the city center, the house is within walking distance of Bruges' iconic canals, the Belfry of Bruges, the historic windmills and the bustling Market Square. Numerous shops, restaurants and cafes are right on your doorstep.
Additional amenities: Fast Wi-Fi, 5 flat-screen TVs (even one outside on the terrace), a washer and dryer and a dedicated workspace make this house suitable for both leisure and business travelers. We have 4 bicycles at your disposal, making a bike ride to the historic city of Damme, the sea or perhaps even Sluis (in the Netherlands) possible.

We have a very nice social but independent cat that needs to be fed about every 2 days. The cat walks in and out of the house as he pleases.
In the garden we also have 5 small chickens running around. The eggs (if they lay them) are small but delicious and of course they are yours.
So if you are allergic to cats or chickens our house might not be the best choice for you...
