What you will love about this home
This is our holiday home in Praia da Luz, Portugal. Only metres from the blue flag sandy beach and many restaurants, this award winning resort is popular for its location and well designed apartments and facilities, including outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna, beauty spa and fully fitted gym.
The studio apartment has a fully equipped separate kitchen, and the living room has a bedroom space divided from the living/dining area by a glass block internal wall, so it's effectively a one-bedroom apartment. It also has a sofa-bed. There is a generous terrace with a sea view, furnished with dining table and four chairs, and a sunbed. Access to the gardens, pools and indoor facilites is all within the gated community. There is free wifi, and a TV with sattelite channels.
The kitchen is fully fitted with full hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, nespresso machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is a ful set of cooking utensils, cookware and tableware. The bedroom has two single beds adjoining to make a super king size double, or use as singles, your choice. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge area. The sofa bed is perfect for a child and you can rent a travel cot and high chair if required, from reception.
Estrela Da Luz has a full reception and concierge service at your disposal and can book airport transfers and day trips for you. We will provide linen and white hotel towels, and you can rent pool towels from the reception for a small fee. You will be given hotel-type card keys and these keys also operate the gates to the resort. You don't need a car in Luz as everything is convenient, and we can arrange airport transfers. If you prefer to drive, there is free parking outside. Uber operates in Portugal, and is very handy if you want to hop into the beautiful town of Lagos.

Luz is a small town with a fabulous beach and lots of restaurants. Lagos is larger and is just 15km away. It is a buzzing pretty town, with cobbled pedestrianized streets and lots of bars, shops and retaurants. You can get there easily by bus or taxi/uber, or you can walk there along a lovely safe cliff walk. From both towns you can do watersports and boat trips.
We love this home because we relax from the moment we arrive.
