Description

Laura has described his/her home in English.

What you will love about this home

Our home is a calm sanctuary 30 minutes drive from Stockholm city or a 5 minutes walk to a city bus. The house is 60’s design with many original features such as large windows, and with all modern cons, including fiber broadband. Highlights include a large garden with flowers, fruit trees, and access to beaches as well as country walks.
Please note for non-reciprocal exchanges we request a cleaning fee.

What you will love about this neighborhood

Below our garden is a meadow through which a trail leads to the water, a sea inlet. In July / August the local woods are full of blueberries and you can forage mushrooms in September.

There is a football pitch close by our garden and a children’s playground within 10 minutes walk. There is a child friendly beach in the area.with several jettys and diving boards. We include 2 SUPs in the exchange. Also there is a protected area for small children to paddle or learn to swim. There are many walking trails and alternate beaches close by.
Stockholm city is reached within 45 minutes by bus which is a 5 minute walk from our house.

Additional information

The average temperature is Stockholm during summer months:
July 24° / 15°
August 22° / 14°
The water temperature is usually 20° in the inner archipelago, where we live.
