What you will love about this neighborhood

Our home is situated within a highly-desirable and safe subdivision community, only a couple of minutes away from the local shops including a post office, supermarket, bakeries, bank facilities, library, playground and peaceful forest reserve walkways.

What to expect during the seasons:

- Winter (June - Aug): This time of year is ski season and the best time for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy Mt Hutt - even if you don’t take part in snow sports, the views of the powdered mountain ranges are absolutely breathtaking.

- Spring (Sept-Nov): Our city is known as “The Garden City” so Spring is one of the most beautiful times to visit Christchurch! We recommend taking in the beautiful blooms while punting on the Avon River.

- Summer (Dec - Feb): Warm, mostly dry weather to enjoy the summer festivities! Visit one of the numerous farmers markets on the weekend, take a tram ride through the city, visit the cathedrals and art galleries to learn about our local history, or visit the coast for a day at the beach.

- Autumn (Mar-May): One of my personal favourite seasons - the trees change to every shade of red, yellow, and orange. The evenings begin to cool down, but the sunsets still burn brightly.

Our home is based in an area known as the “Gateway to Everywhere” or the “Gateway to the Southern Alps”, and for good reason! We are only:

- 20m to Rolleston (a very popular suburb in Christchurch with new outdoor mall, cafes, restaurants, etc)
- 35m from Christchurch International Airport
- 40m to Christchurch City Centre
- 40m to Methven
- 40m to Lake Coleridge
- 45m to the turquoise Rakaia River
- 1h to New Zealand’s award-winning ski destination, Mt Hutt
- 1h 30m to New Zealand’s famous ‘Dark Night Reserve’ - starry skies like you have never seen them before!
- 2h to Alpine Lake Opuha
- 2h 20m to Alpine Lake Tekapo
