What you will love about this home
My home is a modernised grade II listed historic Georgian house built around the time that Jane Austen was around. The house has three bedrooms but the third is used as a dressing room. There is an ensuite bathroom and another separate bathroom. We have another self contained property 'The Folly' at the end of the garden. This has one bedroom, kitchen and shower and small sitting room. I am an artist so creating a beautiful environment is my first priority but not at the expense of comfort. I added a pod in the garden which can be used to sit in all year round. There is a parking space for one car. All the shops are within a hop across the road. Places for coffee and independent shops and restaurants. There is also a beautiful gym 5 minutes away.
What you will love about this neighborhood
I live in the heart of the market town of Alresford famous for the Watercress Steam train line famous for its high end dining car and all year events for all ages. The Town has great places to eat which are all walking distance from the house. This part of England is full of historic sites to visit. We are 55 minutes away from Stonehenge and the New Forest. Winchester with its beautiful Cathedral is only 15 minutes away. We are on the edge of the rolling hills of the South Downs. Jane Austens house is twenty minutes away and is open to the public.
