What you will love about this home
We hope you will love our home as much as we do. You'll especially like the fact that it is so spacious. It's perfectly suited for bigger families. There is plenty of room to hang out together while also having spaces to find some peace (fellow parents, we feel you)
What you will love about this neighborhood
Our house is located in a small town (great for families!) that belongs to Mechelen city. You can reach the city in 15 minutes by bike or you can take the bus.
Mechelen is in the center of Belgium and Western Europe. You can easily visit Antwerp (30min), Brussels (30min), Ghent (1h), and Bruges (1.5h).
The train station is very central to our railway system and will get you anywhere you want, also in our neighboring countries. You could easily take the train to Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne and many more to visit for just one day.
Regarding our immediate surroundings, we live in a quiet town with lots of fields. You'll especially like the lake that is just a 2-minute walk away. You're not allowed to swim, but it's a beautiful hike and you could sail, windsurf, or SUP.
We live right next to a hockey club with tennis and padel fields.
