What you will love about this home
Our 3bd, 2.5ba, 2-story in Northwest Montana is new, on the edge of suburban Kalispell (in the somewhat nicer/newer west valley area) and is well-appointed on a fenced corner lot. Dog park and playground also in the neighborhood/very close.
Costco and all the other stores you’d expect to go with it, as well as quaint downtown Kalispell aren’t too far away but neither is the wilderness.
We’re a 10 minute drive from Flathead Lake, 30-45 minute drive to Glacier National Park. Whitefish Resort and Blacktail Mountain are 15-20 minutes away for skiing. Although the drive up to the top of Blacktail is another 20.
Inside, modern farm vibes yet traditional. Nice appliances. 2-car garage. 2 offices for remote work plus a third workstation/screen/tv at the kitchen counter. One office doubles as a streaming and so-so audio recording studio with seated desk. The other room has a standing desk with screens (in a spare bedroom). There’s an additional shallow writing desk in the upstairs living room if needed.
Lastly, there’s a new, 2-person/20ft camper in the driveway that could also be available as a bunkhouse of sorts with kitchen, bath and queen bed. The camper has 30amp service from the house and is city water connected but uses a holding tank for black water (good for about 2 weeks if water conscious). Or, we can negotiate the ability to tow it for camping in area national parks (as long as it would stay in the region). 5,000lbs dry, bumper-pull with stabilizer.

Rural-suburban subdivision of sorts.
It snows very little down here in the valley but we’re surrounded by mountains that do get snow. It’s surprisingly mild during the winter (typically).
Distant view of Big Mountain and a peek-a-boo view of the very distant peaks in Glacier National Park can be found from the upstairs bedrooms/offices.
Convenient but easy enough to get into some very real wilderness for peace and quiet or serious adventure.
