What you will love about this home
Our house is a cozy 3 bedroom +loft home with 2 bathrooms and is a perfect layout for family and friends located in the heart of town close to the village and Canyon lodge. The living room has spacious high ceilings, large windows with mountain views, pellet stove centered around the sitting area perfect for sipping tea, reading books, and warming up after a day skiing our exploring out in the mountains. The main living area is warm and cozy in the winter located upstairs and heated by wood stove, pellet stove and forced air heating also available. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of room to cook and host meals, fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, and appliances. There is a coffee and cocktail bar adjacent to the kitchen perfect for hosting which includes Espresso maker and wine glasses. The 3rd level of the house has loft with futon bed and desk with kids toys and crafts available to use for families with children. There are two downstairs bedrooms with queen bed in each room. The downstairs bedrooms are connected to a shared bathroom with shower/tub. The master bedroom located on the 2nd level is large with queen size bed, and large full bathroom that includes jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The master bedroom has private door to access the deck. A twin bed for child is available in the adjacent child's room next to master bedroom. The front driveway has space for up to 6 cars and large front, side, and backyard for playing.
One of the best features of the house is the spacious back deck with BBQ grill and table/chairs for outside relaxing. We have a 2 car garage used mostly for storage of toys such as bikes, skis, dirt bikes, kayaks, and surf boards, and paddle boards which can be arranged for use ahead of time.
We have a large flat screen TV that connects to phone or tablet via Google Chrome casting. Our internet is fast and reliable, and perfect for anyone who works remotely. We also have a nice laundry room, and we provide plenty of space in our closets, drawers, fridge etc for you to feel at home during your stay!
We do request a cleaning fee of $150 with your stay. We also request a 3 night minimum stay.

What you will love about this neighborhood
The house is located in a quick walking distance of 5 min to both the village at Mammoth and to Canyon Lodge Ski Area. There is easy access walking distance to bus stop for free pubic transportation to the town and the ski areas. Located in a quiet neighborhood nestled in the trees, the deck is an excellent location to enjoy the views and soak up the mountain air. In the summer, the backyard has a kids zip-line and trampoline, with lots of fun places to play. The mountain bike trails available in the summer start just a few minutes from the house down by the village with easy access to downhill mountain biking.
Mammoth Lakes is surrounded by amazing mountain peaks and high mountain lakes located just minutes away via car from our house. Located north of town is the majestic views of June Lake, and Yosemite National Park is just 45 minutes drive north. Bishop is 45 minute drive south with an ideal location for climbing, as well as plenty of hiking, fishing, camping, and mountain biking in both winter and summer. There are so many outdoor adventures here in the Eastern Sierra that it is difficult to list them all. If we had to choose a favorite spot, I would recommend visiting nearby Rock Creek Lake, and explore the many hot springs in the area. Our neighborhood and house is dog friendly. The location of this house is ideal for fast skiing, mountain biking, and hiking options close enough to the house to avoid driving by walking or using free pubic transportation.

Mammoth Lakes includes many activities such as the ski resort, downhill bike trails, ice skating rink, skate park, 3 parks with playgrounds for children, indoor climbing gym, and lots of hiking trails with paved walkways both up to lakes basin and in town.
If you aren’t familiar with the Eastern Sierra it is an idealistic mountain playground with a world class Ski Resort, 14,000ft peaks, world renown rock climbing, trail running, trout fishing, cycling, back country skiing and tons of beautiful alpine lakes. The Eastern Sierra is dominated by expansive public lands and enjoys California sunshine interrupted by occasional winter storms that can dump feet of fluffy snow in the mountains.
