What you will love about this home
Located in the beautiful village of Talasnal, the house offers a unique and genuine experience of a typical shale house in a comfortable, cozy and at the same time rustic environment. The breathtaking views of the mountain, the village, and the magnificent private pool allow you to enjoy days of tranquility where you can hear the chirping of birds and the running waters of the small stream.
The village of Talasnal, all of it built in schist stone preserves, even today, memories of the past, being a magical and genuine place for those who value authenticity.
Isolated in the mountains the village becomes a perfect place for those looking for tranquility and engagement with nature. Privileged place for mountaineering and hiking practitioners or for those who simply want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of cities. The wildlife on the mountain is very diverse and rich, and encounters with deer, boars, hedgehogs and other autochthonous animals are frequent.
The restoration of the house was completed in 2011 with full respect for the past, using the typical materials of the region, the schist stone and chestnut wood combined with glass and iron. The interior was provided with all the comfort and the facilities required these days.
The house is developed on 3 floors, all with access from the outside, has 3 bedrooms each one with a bathroom giving total privacy to guests. The ground floor has a kitchen and dining room with a stove. On the 1st floor we find a large living room with an open fireplace and a en-suite bedroom. Up to the 2nd floor we have 2 more en-suite bedrooms, one with a stove and the other with a mezzanine floor with access to a small balcony. In the interior decoration were used and restored some existing and authentic furniture and brought from England and Scotland elements such as fabrics, sofas and chairs.
Outside we have a private pool and a large wooden deck where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds us and the pleasant and warm sun in the summer. There is a beautiful and well kept garden with aromatic herbs and a dinning area with a large table sheltered from the sun by a century-old vine.
