What you will love about this home
My three bedroom house looks small on the outside, but once you are inside you will discover a relaxing and spacious home that was thoughtfully designed to make you feel calm and serene.
The living room has morning sunlight streaming in from the bay window and plants that give a comforting vibe. There is a floor seating area and a comfortable couch and armchair, a record player and plenty of books for you to read. A yoga room has all the props you'd need, as well as meditation cushions. There are two sleeping areas - one with a queen size bed on the main floor and a second room with a trifold mattress on the floor that comfortably sleeps one person. There is also a comfortable couch for sleeping in the living room. A large driveway accommodates up to three cars.
The kitchen is well organized and stocked with all you need for cooking, including herbs and spices. In the back of the house there is a bright sunroom with another table and chairs for lounging while you drink your morning coffee. Finally, you will discover a deck outside where you can sit back and listen to birdsong and watch squirrels scamper up the maple tree.
There is central air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer and good heat to keep you warm in the New England winter. The WiFi is speedy in case you want to work here and there is a washer/dryer in the basement in case you need to wash your clothes.

What you will love about this neighborhood
My home is located on a tree lined street in the Elmhurst area, a peaceful neighborhood just a ten minute drive from downtown Providence and fifteen minutes to the historic East Side. Nestled between Providence College and Rhode Island College, Elmhurst is a perfect location for someone who wants a quiet area close to all Providence has to offer and other Rhode Island attractions. It is about an hour's drive from Boston; you can also take a train or bus to Boston or New York from downtown Providence.
My favorite things to do in Providence are to go to the delicious restaurants, check out the RISD museum, walk around downtown (especially when there is Waterfire) and chat with vendors at the local farmers markets. In the summer, there are beautiful beaches; Rhode Island is the state with the second largest coastline in proportion to it's size, giving it the nickname "The Ocean State".

Additional information
I'm a psychotherapist who enjoys gardening, hiking with my dog and practicing yoga. While traveling, I love to discover new nature spots and explore cities, collecting art and trying out the local cuisine. I'd be happy to share my favorite local hiking areas (appx.a 15 minute drive from the house), and recommend beautiful Rhode Island beaches, restaurants and cafes to help you make the most of your stay.
