What you will love about this home
UPDATE:
We are looking for an exchange in the period 18 November - 24 January 2024. Preferably close to surfing sport in a warmer region, in a family friendly region/house. Open for suggestions.
Our home is in in the centre of Leiden one of the oldest towns in the Netherlands, its a super quiet area with only residential traffic. First canal is 100 meters from our doorstep.
We love our place built in 1896, we have renovated it completely in 2020. Its brand new but with a relaxed touch. Ground floor is very spacious with high ceilings (3 meter) and an extension with a brand new open kitchen and view to our garden (26 meters deep!). 3 Bedrooms (One master, 2 Kids, one is also good for adults (we could add an additional 2p. bed)), master bedroom is having a super good bed 1,80*2.00m.
Child friendly (including stair-gates, toys, books, cot, chair, playhouse outside etc.), has all amenities that you need. We love cooking so all equipment is provided, don't worry about that ;). We have a spacious garden of 26 meters deep which is very unique in the old centre and also creates a lot of privacy.
If needed we can provide bikes - with child seat.
Please note its an row-house/terrace house built in 1896 meaning that we respect our neighbours and expect our guest will do the same.
Send us a message in case you want to hear more.

What you will love about this neighborhood
Leiden is best in Wintertime especially if you are lucky and its freezing which means you could do ice skating (https://drijvendeijsbaanleiden.nl/), or you can visit many of the Christmas markets. Leiden is known for its weekend market (on Saturday, a smaller one on Wednesday).
Its super close-by to Schiphol airport (15 minutes by train) so you could use it as a hub to explore the Netherlands or Europe. Busstop that brings you to Leiden Central Station is 3 minutes walking.
Our home is in in the centre of Leiden one of the oldest towns in the Netherlands. Super central to old town (5m minutes walk). There is plenty of restaurants from high end / mid range and easy going restaurants & take away. Dozen of larger playgrounds close-by. The beach (surfing) / forest (Panbos) (15min by car), The Hague/Scheveningen (Surf-Musea etc.) (20-25 min by car/train), Amsterdam 35 minutes by car/train, Rotterdam 30 minutes by car/train.
You will absolutely love this area as it is having many of the better Musea in Europe and as a city not ruined by the mass tourism. The best mix of both worlds to my opinion.
