What you will love about this home
Our home is a cosy, owner-built passive-solar home. We created our place 25 years ago from recycled eco-friendly materials, using our own hands, so it is rustic but warm and welcoming. It is enveloped by our extensive, well-established garden which includes a great many fruit trees, and vegetables, along with the organic 8 acre vineyard.
Your room is our guest room, accessible via the timber stairs inside the house. You have your own little bathroom (shower and toilet) and a big balcony. We are offering this as a B&B hospitality option, with a basic continental breakfast (fruit, yoghurt, muesli, bread, spreads) provided for free. We have a big gas BBQ you can use if you wish to eat in, but there are restaurants and cafes in Albany town, about 10km away.

What you will love about this neighborhood
Albany is only 10km and has all the amenities of a small Australian city. We are located on the outskirts of town in a rural location. You are likely to hear are the sounds of nature (frogs, sheep, cows etc) as well as some road noise from the new Ring Road nearby, which we are told will settle once the road material "beds down" for the coming months. You will see Kangaroos in the vineyard quite frequently. See the main house description for more details.
