What you will love about this home

Our home is full of character with lovely views over the valley. It is part of a converted chapel, built into the hillside. It’s a little bit rustic but that’s part of its charm! Like many of the houses in Hebden Bridge, it has a bit of a quirky layout, with most of the rooms over one floor and the kitchen/diner downstairs, leading out to a lovely little courtyard garden with a beautiful view over the valley. We love it here.

We have a sitting room in the front which has a pull-out sofa for 2 people- this room is also good for relaxing in during the summer months as it is cooler than the living room. We also have our bedroom with a double bed and a smaller room with our toddler's small double bed. The living room has a feature fireplace, a smart tv (Netflix and Prime) and a record player. It has a wonderful view and is south facing so lots of natural light. We have lots of toys and are well-equipped for babies and toddlers, with stair gates and a high chair.

It should be noted that Hebden Bridge is very hilly and as such there are a lot of steps! Our property is accessed via steps to the front and steps to the rear, so is probably not suited to anyone with mobility issues. Parking is on-street.

We also have a cat so cat-lovers would be very welcome! He’s quite timid to begin with but very affectionate once he’s warmed to you!

What you will love about this neighborhood

Hebden Bridge is known for its creative vibe and independent spirit! We are centrally located in the town, a 2 minute walk to the market square and all the independent shops, bars, cafes and restaurants that the town has to offer. We also have an amazing gig venue (The Trades Club) a little theatre and an independent cinema. Our house is a 5 min walk from the train station, with connections to Manchester (35 mins) and Leeds (45 mins). There are incredible walks right from our doorstep; with ancient woodland, rivers, canals and the beautiful moorland to explore!
