What you will love about this home
Our beautiful and completely renovated apartment is uniquely located on the second floor in an old school building (1910). It is kids-friendly, very spacious, modern, bright, quiet and sunny. It has a huge rooftop terrace and a spacious balcony.
What you will love about this neighborhood
The neighbourhood is one of the most happening at the moment, including De Hallen (centre for media (cinema), culture, fashion, food and crafts), various shops, great bars and trendy restaurants. There are supermarkets (Albert Heijn, Dirk van den Broek and Marqt) around the corner and the daily ‘Ten Kate market’ as well.
The neighbourhood is kids friendly: there are lots of playgrounds, kids-shops, there is a children’s farm ‘Zimmerhoeve’ just 3 minutes walk and in summertimes, there is a nice small ‘paddling pool’ for (small) kids at the end of the street.
If you prefer to walk to the center, it will take you about 10 minutes to the Jordaan, including the ‘9 straatjes’, the canals or the Vondelpark. The public transport is just 2 minutes walk and will take you to the city centre in 3 minutes (e.g. tram 13 takes 10 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station).
