What you will love about this home

*Please note that I am only open to exchanges of 5 nights or more, unless a shorter time period is indicated on my calendar.*

My home reflects who I am as a person. It's filled with art that is important to me, cozy linens, bright plants, shelves of books, and, best of all, a view of the city I love - Boston! I work from home, so there is a well established office with reliable, high speed internet.

The kitchen is well equipped for avid cooks or bakers, The bedrooms are tucked in the back of the apartment, away from the living spaces and from the street and as such, they are very quiet. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, and the guest room has a full size bed.

The home is directly across the street from Piers Park, which is one of the most popular parks in the City of Boston. The park hugs the Boston Harbor; in the summer it is pure magic to have so much greenery. There is a sailing center within the park where you can take sailing lessons or rent boats, and there are free concerts in the summer (every Sunday night). There is a robust playground that local families adore, including a splash pad for children (so bring the bathing suits!). It's the best outdoor space you could want for your stay!

What you will love about this neighborhood

East Boston (or Eastie, as it's known to us locals) is an incredibly special neighborhood in Boston. We make it a point to know our neighbors, and there are all kinds of community activities, from individual community gardening, volunteer opportunities at a community farm, free concerts in the park (across the street from the house), sailing, kayaking, to seasonal art exhibits and gorgeous murals, there is always something to do or see. The Boston Harbor has many access points to take advantage of, and I highly recommend the Harbor Walk or the East Boston Greenway to stretch your legs and take in nature within the city.

Additional information

This is a second floor apartment (in the United States, often referred to as a first floor apartment in other parts of the world). There is one flight of stairs to reach the apartment. Unfortunately, there is no lift, and it is not a wheelchair accessible home.

It is part of a 3 - family home with 2 residents living upstairs, and 1 resident living downstairs. This home is quiet and tidy, and I appreciate guests who honor that.
