What you will love about this home
This unique earthship is totally self sufficient and off-grid with all the amenities you will need for a magical stay including fast unlimited WIFI, 24/7 hot water etc, and a 6kw solar power system with generator backup if ever needed.
It is a large open plan home with 32 foot high vaulted ceilings. It is part of Karuna Dham with 25 acres of private land with panoramic views, streams, waterfalls and much more!
Perfect for couples, honeymoons, small groups, remote working, meditation, or if you just want to retreat from the city.
The interior has been lovingly sculpted and finished by myself along with international artists. Some features that stand out are the beautiful spiral staircase, the bathroom wall murals, and of course plants and trees growing inside the home.
All of the furniture and furnishings are of high quality and everything is well maintained. No expense has been spared to demonstrate how comfortable and luxurious off grid living can be! Sustainable doesn't have to mean going back to basics, that is the message of Earthship Karuna.
The entire interior has been updated and refreshed in August 2022. This is a very well maintained property as my focus is on your enjoyment and keeping the earthship in great condition.
Outside there is a large private garden with a private Gazebo. You can sit outside and enjoy the most incredible views of the area.
There is a vegetarian restaurant 10 minutes walk. You can have breakfast lunch and dinner at Govinda's Restaurant which is in a beautiful location near a waterfall and with amazing views.

What you will love about this neighborhood
Earthship Karuna is located in Karuna Dham, which is a privately managed NGO established 30 years ago. Karuna Dham is located in a beautiful nature spot overlooking valleys and mountain ranges. It is a very safe place and in 15 years we have never had any personal safety issues with guests, children or solo women etc.
Karuna Dham hosts other guests in simple cottages spread out over 25 acres, and therefore there are other people nearby including staff and labour who will help you carry your luggage and with any other needs.
Please note, this is a blissful nature experience! Please do not expect a normal hotel like experience!
If you have difficulty walking or going up steep paths this may make it too hard for you to get around.
The Earthship has a fully fitted kitchen where you can cook whilst enjoying the views. You will find all the pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc that you need to cook with.
