What you will love about this home
Gorgeous, modern suite centrally located in the Tampa Bay area! Walking distance to downtown Safety Harbor, a beautiful small town located on the Tampa bay. In fact, we are one block from the bay itself!
This listing is for our attached in law suite with a separate entrance. It’s the perfect space for a couple who doesn’t need multiple bedrooms. The suite is cozy, well laid out, and absolutely spotless (we do all the cleaning ourselves). It includes a queen bed with luxury sheets and mattress, office nook, two person dining table, mini kitchen, and recently renovated bathroom. There is a peaceful patio with a bistro table just outside the suite. It’s shaded by palms and the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine!
Please note - this space has much greater availability than our main house, because the separate entrance allows us to host guests while we ourselves are still home. Though it is very private, you may occasionally hear us during the day since the suite is adjacent to our backyard and shares a back wall with our garage/laundry room. The mini kitchen includes a fridge, small freezer, coffee machine, and microwave. No washer/dryer in unit. Temp must be kept between 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit (21-24 degrees Celsius) as the unit shares air conditioning with the house and this is the range we find comfortable. We are more suited for vacation getaways rather than long term stays in which you’d do a lot of cooking or cleaning.

What you will love about this neighborhood
There is so much to love about Safety Harbor, and we know you will enjoy the character of this town as much as we do! Walk (5 mins) to a variety of restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery store, breweries, library, parks, bay beaches, trails, and more! We are one block off Bayshore Boulevard, a gorgeous waterfront trail that you can run or bike all the way across the scenic Tampa Bay (11 miles).
A short drive to the Gulf of Mexico, theme parks, downtown St Petersburg, downtown Tampa, and Clearwater beach. Just over an hour drive to Crystal River, where you can kayak and swim with the manatees in clear, spring water. 1.5 hours to Orlando/Disney; you can day trip or grab a hotel on property for a night or two. In our opinion, we have the best location in Florida - we are in one of the few truly walkable areas with a community feel, and can easily reach more major vacation attractions than we can count.
We love the diversity and sense of community in our waterfront town. We live on a street shared by multi million dollar homes and family ranches still occupied by their original owners. People in our city take pride in the community and helping their neighbors. It’s a truly unique beach town paradise!
