What you will love about this home
As you can see from the pictures our home is a place of simple comfort. There is a suite downstairs that is currently occupied. The suite has a separate entrance. The rest of the downstairs and the upstairs are part of our home and available to you. There is a Murphy queen-sized pullout bed, a TV and couch and the main entrance downstairs. Off the entrance way is a coat and boots/shoes room. Room to hang up wet gear when it is rainy. Upstairs has all the essentials. One bedrooms, with a queen bed. There is one bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The living room has couches and a gas fireplace. There is an eclectic library with local guidebooks. Shelves of games and local art. The kitchen has a gas stove (handy if power goes out), dishwasher and a microwave. The long dinner table is great for family meals and watching the birds drawn to the front gardens.
We spend a lot of time outdoors and Adrienne spends many hours in the garden. The house is surrounded front and back by gardens. Due to Adrienne's skills there are always flowers and fresh produce during the growing season. The backyard is a great place to hang out on a sunny day.

What you will love about this neighborhood
We acknowledge that we live in the territory of ƛaʔuukʷiʔatḥ (Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation).
Our home is very near the center of Tofino. Our street is handy to the the town core yet a quiet respite from the busy downtown during the high season. The entire downtown core with the grocery store, post office, bank, art galleries, Nuu-chah-nulth guiding companies and businesses, whale and wildlife watching companies, clothing stores, the Saturday Market, cafes and many restaurants are all within an easy 10 minute walk. Walk the other direction away from the house and pick up an easy 10 minute trail through the rainforest. The Tonquin trail takes you to a beautiful white sand beach and other trails. The beach is a great spot for a swim, to catch a sunrise or sunset or to just hangout, read a book and watch for whales. Hop in your car to access longer beaches for walks, jogs or to catch some surf. Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is a 15-20 minute drive. A bit further down the road is the community of Ucluelet which sits at the entrance to beautiful Barkley Sound. Ucluelet offers a rich diversity of West Coast experiences including the famous Wild Pacific Trail and the Ucluelet Aquarium.
