What you will love about this home
We live in a lovely 19th century house, complete with original details such as stained glass, molding and wooden floors. We have a large living room, with TV and dining area for 6 persons. We also have a little en-suite reading nook with a digital piano. Our kitchen is well equipped and easy to clean, and has all the modern necessities like an oven, dishwasher and fridge as well as some luxury amenities such as a Kitchenaid mixer and instant hot-water Quooker tap.
Upstairs, we have one bedroom with a walk-in closet, a bathroom with bathtub and two home offices. In our two home offices we have high-speed internet, a desk and an extra screen to use. Perfect if you're able to work from home!
Outside we have a lovely small garden with a small outside dining area in the shade, and we also have a rooftop terrace with a lounge area for when you feel like soaking up some sunshine! All in all, you would find the luxuries of living in a family home, but then within the city centre!

What you will love about this neighborhood
We live on a beautiful canal with small boats passing through on sunny days. We live a five minute walk from the main square of Delft, which is like Amsterdam but a little smaller! Delft has a lot to offer in terms of gastronomy. We have plenty of recommendations, ranging from coffee bars and street food to Michelin star dining and from vegan spots to local bakeries and cocktail bars.
There is a train station within 5 minutes walking distance with a direct link to cities like Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Leiden and The Hague. We would recommend coming by train. Although we do have parking spots in front of our house, you do have to pay to be able to park your car. After all, this is a historic city centre!

Some things to keep in mind;
- We have a cat, so beware if you have any allergies. Sometimes we take the cat with us to travel, but other times we might ask you to keep him company and feed him. He’s a very friendly and cuddly Ragdoll cat, and is able to independently go outside.
- We have one double bed for 2 persons. We do however have plenty of room for an inflatable mattress should you bring one.
- If you’re able to work from home, we have two spacious home office spaces with desks and monitors you can use.
