What you will love about this home
Our townhouse was built in 2015. There is plenty of free street parking close to the front door. There are only 3 steps up to the front porch.
The first floor is all open areas, foyer, dining room, kitchen, and living room. There is natural light from the front to the back, a piano, YouTubeTV, Netflix, Google Fiber, and a 1/2 bath.
The front porch is covered, and a good place to sit & have coffee in the mornings. The back deck is open, eye level to the tree tops, and a quiet spot with chairs, table, and a gas grill.
The second floor has two bedrooms with queen size beds, with 2 full baths and a laundry room..
The basement is the bonus room with a TV, a couch, and a full bath. There is room for a double air-mattress, if a put up bed is needed. From the basement there is a 1/2 flight of stairs to the garage. From the garage there is access to a fenced in back yard with an electric gate to the alley. You can use our Toyota Prius V Hybrid for errands and local driving, that is parked in front of the house.
You can choose to pay a Cleaning Fee of $200, or take on the personal responsibility to clean before leaving. Details are provided in our Welcome Book. Keep in mind that there may be guests arriving following your visit, so we'd like it to be left in as good of a condition for them as it was for you.
*No cats, we are highly allergic!

What you will love about this neighborhood
Shop and dine in East Nashville. We are located in Historic East End, which includes the Greater 5 Points & Fatherland Districts. It is an easy walk to award-winning, chef-owned restaurants Margot Cafe & Bar and Lockeland Table, and a wide variety of local eateries. There is an abundance of hip coffee shops, bakeries and neighborhood bars. The Shoppes On Fartherland has boutiques with decor, apparel, body care, pet goods, gourmet, yoga, physical fitness, just 2 blocks away. Five Points, the hub of East Nashville, offers more eateries and shopping, just 4 blocks away. City E-Bikes are available in the neighborhood. We do not recommend the scooter rentals. We have 3 adult bikes in the garage. There are nearby music venues such as the 5 Spot (made famous in the the ABC TV show "Nashville"), 1/2 mile; Basement East, 3/4 mile; Ascend Amphitheater, 1.5 miles; and The Ryman Auditorium, 2 miles. The East Nashville farmers market is every Tuesday 3:30-6:30. Downtown Nashville and all it has to offer (museums, shopping, honky tonks, the symphony hall, stadium, city farmers market, the capitol, performing arts center) is a 5-10 minute Uber/Lyft ride away. GEODES Park (Soccer) is 5.2 miles away. We are less than a mile from Shelby Park (golf, baseball, picnic, bike, fish, run) and Shelby Bottoms, next to the Cumberland River, and Nashville’s extensive Greenways system. E-bikes are available in the park. Kayak rentals are on-line. The YMCA is 2.3 miles. There is a local East Nashville farmer's market every Tuesday afternoon with produce, eats, and prepared goods, 1.2 miles. The Turnip Truck organic grocery store, convenience stores and a Kroger are within a mile. There are a number of churches in walking distance. Our church home is The Church at Lockeland Springs, 0.7 miles, and they'd love you welcome you. The Nashville International Airport is 8 miles away.

*If you have an extended stay, you will most likely need a car. You can park free in the street, by the front door. We have a Toyota Prius V Hybrid that can be used for local trips or errands. Please refill the gas. Otherwise, Uber & Lyft are quickly accessible. There are city bus stops close by, but the routes are not very convenient.
*For Reciprocal exchanges, please keep the house clean and tidy and we will clean your home, too. (Or, you can choose to pay a cleaning fee of $200).
*For all exchanges:
-Please put the dirty linens & towels in the Laundry Room.
-Take out the trash & recycling to the large receptacles outside the garage door before leaving.
-Load the dirty dishes and turn on the dishwasher when leaving.
*if staying with Guest Points, we will require a cleaning fee of $200, or you can choose to be responsible for the cleaning (all of the above, plus vacuuming and bathrooms). Please keep in mind that there may be guests arriving after you leave.
*Non-smoking only.
*No dogs or cats allowed due to allergies.
*Our home is not childproof or kid friendly, but children are welcome with supervision.
