What you will love about this home
Our villa is available for several weeks this year from around March 9 - April 13 2025 preferably with Guest Points and then it will also be available all winter from around the first week of December to mid April 2026. We prefer adults only, preferably just 4 but 6 is possible - and no pets, no smokers. Really do not contact me if you are travelling with kids! Things you would love: The sparkling sea views from the living room patio doors and terrace! The imposing Rocha Negra on the left (the highest coastal point in the Algarve), the winding streets of pretty villas with terracotta-tiled roofs and garden walls overflowing with orange trees and multi-hued foliage in front of you, and fishing boats and yachts passing by on the ocean. Your view every day from our detached, two-storey, south-facing, fully-renovated Mediterranean-style, 3-bedroom (we lock one up with our personal belongings), 3-bathroom villa in quiet, pretty residential area of Quinta da Bela Vista, overlooking the town and beach of Praia da Luz. Your own private pool in pretty garden with grassy area and flowers, sun bathing patio framed with glorious bougainvillea and hibiscus. Panoramic upstairs terrace with sensational sea views from L-shaped living areas plus large gas barbecue outside for every day outdoor eating. Calming pale grey and marble decor palette inside, with lots of natural fibres and textures. Spacious layout as well as cosy TV nook. The living area is open plan through a big arch into white and marble kitchen with views over the countryside all the way to Monchique mountains. The three bedrooms downstairs, accessed by curved stone staircase, are fully kitted out with wardrobes, beautiful marble/grey/white brand new ensuite shower rooms, Portuguese bedding, comfortable mattress toppers and one of the bedrooms opens out onto the patio, swimming pool and garden. There's also an extra full shower room downstairs. An extra bed is upstairs - a pull out section of the large L-shaped sofa in the TV nook.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Just 15 mins walk downhill to crescent-shaped sandy beach with watersports, cute town centre, oceanfront promenade and restaurants, bars, tiny market and shops. The wider area around Luz is replete with golf courses, there are tennis and padel tennis clubs in Luz, all the watersports are right there, as well as hiking, biking, sailing and boat trips from the nearby Lagos Marina, vineyards along the coast and hinterland, and Portuguese gastronomy, history and culture everywhere. Explore the West Coast wild surf beaches 30 mins away, meander into the countryside with unspoilt ancient cobbled villages, drive just 3 hours to Lisbon and less to Sevilla, Spain. Lagos, with its fort and castle, is full of pavement cafe plazas, outdoor musicians, waterfront market, and cobbled shady streets, ritzy restaurants and bars, casual quaint eateries, bustling marina, gorgeous cliffs and coves, and the long white sands and lovely beach bars of Meia Praia. Walks to see the birdlife - and windsurfing and kitesurfing - at the Alvor Estuary. Drive to Silves Castle via the Orange Route, check out vineyards along the way and have afternoon tea at the Castle. Day and evening trips to the famous spots of the Algarve such as Vale do Lobo, Carvoeira, Quinta da Lago, Albufeira. So much to do! No pets, no smokers.
