What you will love about this home
Welcome to our home, a charmingly modern family house with a back garden in a child-friendly neighbourhood. Leiden has a lot to offer and is ideal for those who would like to visit cities such as The Hague, Delft, Rotterdam and Amsterdam for a day. Free parking. Close to the De Vink train station, green areas, beaches, museums and the beautiful centre of Leiden. Perfect base for exploring Holland!
Our house has become our home since we came here almost three years ago. We tackled the whole house and decorated it to our taste. We enjoy the garden and the bathroom with the large rain shower the most. We have a four-bedroom house, a comfortable living room, a decent kitchen, a nice bathroom with lovely showers, a good-sized laundry room, and a pleasant garden with a seating area outside. On the second floor, there are two double bedrooms with a bathroom. The Master bedroom and laundry room are on the third floor. Our office won't be available and will store our private properties.

The area:
Our house is in a suburb (the Stevenshof) that was built in 1991. The name comes from the Stevenshofpolder Our street, Sara de Bronovoplein, was one of the last to be finished in 1992. Almost all the streets in the neighbourhood are named after women who were influential in Dutch (feminist) history. Like fighting for equal rights, the first professor of the Dutch resistance in WO II. Sara de Bronovo (our street) was the founder of a hospital in The Hague late 1860s.
We have two big supermarkets (Dirk and Albert Heijn) in our shopping area, a butcher, fishmonger, pharmacy, snack bar and a bakery. Three major roads near the house: the A44 towards Schiphol (30 minutes), Amsterdam (40 minutes), and The Hague (15 minutes) are very close, as well as the N11 (Utrecht, 45 minutes) and A4 (Rotterdam, 25 minutes). The big city of Leiden is known worldwide for its famous University. But it also houses very many popular museums in the Netherlands.
We will have loads of information (leaflets and brochures) on your arrival.
