What you will love about this home
Our home is a bright, airy space that embodies Scandinavian style, featuring white walls, clean lines, cozy textiles, and minimalist design. The property includes spacious living areas, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry room, and a garage. The photos provide a glimpse of the house, and we’d be happy to share more upon request.
This is an allergy-friendly, non-smoking home with no pets, due to allergies. As our guest, you'll enjoy a well-maintained home, and its superb location is perfect for exploring Swedish nature and culture.

What you will love about this neighborhood
Bankeryd is a peaceful, family-friendly residential area located just 10 minutes northwest of Jönköping, the largest city in the Småland region and the tenth-largest municipality in Sweden. Here, you'll be surrounded by nature and close to Lake Vättern. The beach is 1 mi / 1,7 km away from the house. There is also a public heated outdoor pool area with a diving tower in the neighborhood, available for a small entry fee, as well as tennis courts (both hard and clay), grocery stores and other amenities. For golf enthusiasts, the closest golf resort is about 5 mi /8 km away: Sand Golf Club. This club is ranked one of the world's 100 best golf courses and ranked No. 2 in the Nordic countries according to Rolex World's Top 1000 Golf Courses.
Vättern is the second-largest lake by surface area in Sweden, and the sixth-largest lake in Europe. It has been famous for the excellent quality of its transparent water. Many of the municipalities in the area receive their drinking water directly from Vättern. The lake water requires very little treatment before being pumped into the municipal systems and the natural, untreated water can be safely drunk from almost any point in the lake. It has been suggested that Vättern is the largest body of potable water in the world.
Jönköping offers a vibrant city pulse, beach life and nature on the doorstep. The city centre of Jönköping consists of picturesque alleys and canals opening the city up to the three lakes. Gränna and Visingsö offer enchanting views, manor houses, cobbled roads, bicycle rides, idyllic wooden cabins, castle ruins, paths and oak forests.
‘Sweden for real’ is the official slogan of the region of Småland in the southern part of Sweden. Småland is forests, meadows, pastures, and shimmering lakes. The forests stretch for miles and invite you to hike, pick mushrooms and berries. Here, you can experience absolute silence, only interrupted by birdsong and possibly the tread of the king of the forest – the moose. This is where Emil of Lönneberga (that boy Emil) and The Children of Noisy Village lived their lives in Astrid Lindgren’s books. The red cottages and fields look exactly as they did then. Welcome!
