What you will love about this home
Aloha,
We are stewards of the land and a beautiful home located in the heart of Hanalei on the North Shore of the island of Kauai. It is located two blocks from Hanalei Bay, a 10 minute walk to Hanalei town center, and has river and mountain waterfall views.
Our home is a beautiful, recently renovated simplistic/wabi sabi chic 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home. We bring the natural world inside with stone sinks, wood vanities crafted by local artisans, Hawaiian plants, and bamboo water features.
Upstairs you'll find a main bedroom with full bath and a king bed, a kitchen, half bath, living area, and a comfortable lanai with a daybed swing and bar seating for morning coffee views of waterfalls and a river that runs through the land. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs one with 2 queens and the other with 1 queen and a full bath down the hall. There's also a laundry room with state-of-the-art washer/dryer. We have a lanai (balcony) facing a beautiful stream, as well as waterfall mountain views. Take a warm shower outside to rinse after a day at the beach, or relax on our large swing on the lanai. The kids will enjoy the large trampoline and playground with swing in the yard.
The bedrooms sleep 8 people, and we also have a pullout couch in garage and daybed in the main living area that can accommodate an additional 2 people.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to cook yourself a meal (coffee machine, juicer, Vitamix, pans, pots, bowls, etc.).
We have a few beach cruiser bikes and a paddle board for your enjoyment.
A little bit about Hanalei... Hanalei “crescent bay” is a quiet (during cusp months) surf town on the North Shore of Kauai. It’s known for waves (in winter months), laid back vibe, beautiful "palis" (green mountains), and long stretch of beach. In town you'll find surf shops, restaurants, coffee, and yoga. To the north there are Lumaha’i, Makua and Ke'e beaches (the start of Kalalau Trail).
We have cable/internet (works great!) and AC for the warm summer months.

What you will love about this neighborhood
Our neighborhood is very beautiful and peaceful. We are just blocks to the ocean and town center. You can walk or bike to anywhere in Hanalei. We are also a 20-minute drive to Hā'ena State Park which hosts the Kalalau Trail, Ke'e beach, Makua (Tunnels) and the beautiful palis (mountains) of the North Shore.
