What you will love about this home
Our house is in the tourist area of La Escala, 3 minutes walk from the beach. It has a garden of 110 square meters and is totalemte exterior and sunny. It has parking and nearby there are restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, parks, etc .
L'Escala is situated in the bay of Roses, one of the most beautiful bays in the world. In 2011 it joined the club of the thirty most beautiful bays in the world, a distinction endorsed by UNESCO, recognizing the touristic value, landscape and cultural assets of the location.

What you will love about this neighborhood
The old town, with its narrow streets that go down to a small beach lined with taverns and terraces.
The various events on the square and the beach of the old town, such as the Catalan dance evenings, the Sardana symbol of Catalan pride and unity.
In summer almost every day there are activities for children and adults (clowns, performances, disco, cinema on the beach, zumba, etc.). And there is a nice little train that crosses the town and takes you from the ruins of empuries to the cove of Montgo. A very nice tourist attraction to do.
Enjoy the many restaurants in the area that offer among others Catalan specialties and Anchovy (for example on toast with olive oil and tomato, a delight) which is a real emblem of the city to such point that a whole museum (The museum of anchovy and salt) is dedicated to it. As L'Escala has been an old fishing village, it is normal to find in its kitchen a profusion of fish and seafood, but restaurants offer a wide range of cuisines ranging from the most traditional to the most contemporary.
Very beautiful and long walk (on foot but also by bike) along the sea from the house or towards the splendid "Sant Martí d'Empuries" medieval town overlooking the sea, the surroundings are dotted with Roman remains and impressive greeks or you will not miss the Archeology Museum which is the largest archaeological site in Catalonia.or a relaxing walk towards the fishing port of l'escala where you can admire beautiful sunsets with the tinkle delicate sailboat ropes but also more possibilities as to go to the natural park of Montgri and its cliffs and breathtaking landscapes and beautiful coves (cala Illa Mateua, cala Montgo ...).
