What you will love about this home

Welcome to our green oasis in the heart of the most beautiful city in Norway, Bergen.

We absolutely fell in love with this place which we now call Home. A luminous and spacious first floor filled with good ambiance greets you with its fire place and terrace. A spacious dinner table remains the centre of the living room. You may enjoy your brunch with bubbles and a view. The two bedrooms downstairs have two king size beds covered with fine linen. The bathroom is brand new with an Italian rain shower and other amenities. The apartment is perfect for all kind of travelers. Couples may enjoy the view of the city and all the great kitchen equipment for real foodies (Romain is definitely a foody). Groups of friends may be thrilled to use the Italian pizza oven or grill the freshly fished cod on the kamado barbecue on the terrace. A family will enjoy the space and secrets of the loft and the espresso machine worthy of a true barista. The loft can easily accommodate children and an extra double bed. The loft is now fully renovated : it has its own bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, a warming floor too. It has also a comfy bed, a desk to do some home office and a private toilet room.

What you will love about this neighborhood

The city is known as the gateway to the Fjords (Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord), the cultural centre of Norway with museums, philharmonic orchestra, sea, harbour and mountains and of course Bryggen which is on the UNESCO list.

The city has a lot to offer and is a hidden gem. Both urban, continental and Nordic, Bergen maintains its international elegance.

The few last pictures are all taken in a radius of 30 min walk/hike/public transportation.

The neighborhood is one of the most quiet of Bergen, incredibly safe, and easy to reach from the city center (Bryggen for example). The house lies on a high-point and has an incredible view on Bergen.

Additional information

The apartment is located at the foot of the Ulriken mountain (a must see in Bergen), next to Haukeland hospital. It is a quiet residential area, 10 minutes to city centre with the bus or you can use the bikes.
Airport can be reached in ~45min with a bus + light rail going directly to the terminal. Now a new line of light rail makes it possible to have a 10 min walk to the hospital and then take the light train direct to the airport.
Two grocery shops are in the neighborhood (<5min walk) with all you can wish for. They are usually open monday to saturday until 21:00. Other shops are open on sundays but need a little walk (20min).

The house has to be cleaned before leaving but additional services can be arranged if you want to be extra chill during your stay (cost of 50€).

We can - in some cases- if visitors are 1 or 2 persons host them while we are also living in the house. Nice food expected. Just ask us :)
