What you will love about this neighborhood
The area is very quiet and plenty of shops and cafeterias; a supermarket is just opposite the building (open 7/7).
The city centre is at 20 min on foot and it's rich in History, art and architecture. In a square kilometer you can find many museums, Churches and historical buildings (National Cinema Museum, Egyptian museum, Oriental Art Museum, the Museum of Antiquity, the Royal Palace and Madame Palace, The Mole Antonelliana, the Cathedral which hosts the Holy Shroud Museum). Remember also the Automobile Museum, a modern museum, located roughly 5km south of the city centre, with its precious collection of more than 200 automobiles (reachable by metro)
N.B. If you're travelling by car, the street has a parking fee , being the flat near the city center which has traffic limit ( the paid parking runs from 8:00am to 7:30pm. € 10,00 for 1 day, € 28,00 for 1 week - or €1,50 for 1 hour; free on sunday).

Being near the Central Station, you can also easily catch a train and do a daily trip to Milan or Genova ( one hour and a half ); a little further Parma or Bologna ( a couple of hours). Heading towards the mountains, you can reach easily Susa Valley (Susa is a beautiful medieval and Roman village; Salbertrand, Bardonecchia ...)
Piedmont
Lonely Planet picks Piedmont as the world's top region to visit in 2019 (https://www.lonelyplanet.com/italy/liguria-piedmont-and-valle-daosta/piedmont; https://www.lonelyplanet.com/video/discover-piedmont-italy/v/vid/1023 )
Turin is the main city of the Piemonte Region .
Just outside Torino, you can visit the Baroque Savoy Palace and gardens at La Venaria Reale, included in the UNESCO Heritage List in 1997( well connected with Venaria express bus from the city center); a little farther (km.1) you can relax in huge La Mandria Park (you can have picnic and rent a bike too).
Much of Italy's best wines are found in the Piemonte region. This wine area, with beautiful rolling hills topped by picturesque towns, is known as Langhe. The vineyard-covered landscapes of Piedmont’s Langhe-Roero and Monferatto regions have been recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The village of Barolo is at the heart of producing the mighty red wine, Barolo.
