What you will love about this home
Our home is a family home with a relaxed atmosphere. We love the fact that we have the comfort of a house with a garden while at the same time the advantage of living near the heart of a vibrant town. Never far away from fun experiences and never far from relaxing in the calm setting of a family home.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Our house is situated in a residential area close to the city centre of Odense - a mere 15-20minute walk or five minutes by bike. We live close to a lovely park and if you walk just 10 minutes through the park you will get to the river and the path along it which will take you to the city centre and beyond to a great zoo and the forest Fruens Bøge. Odense has so much to offer - lots of free/cheap concerts, museums, public outdoor pools, fantastic shopping and great restaurants. The city had undergone a transformation in recent years and we now have a tramway across town. You’ll find a tram stop only 5 minutes from our house. If you want castles, beaches, biking, hiking or a trip to the archipelago south of Funen you never have to drive for more than 30-60 minutes. And if you want a day in Copenhagen you can reach our capital by car or train in less than 90 minutes. So much to do and see.
Odense is particularly child friendly - it is after all the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen, the children's author - and you will find lots of playgrounds - outdoors and indoor around the city. In june 2021 the new Hans Christian Andersen visitor centre opened in central Odense. Don't miss it. Such a fantastic building and park.
