What you will love about this home
Our Hawaiian retreat is a custom built pole home featuring open beam ceilings, koa wood cabinetry and flooring, a gourmet kitchen, and 2 fireplaces. This serene 3.6 acre estate has lemon, lime, orange, tangelo, grapefruit, papaya, fig, mac nut, coffee and avocado trees. The long driveway is lined with fragrant gardenias. Our "pet" sheep and goats graze the fenced pastures and can be watched from the lanai. Kona sunset and ocean views can also be enjoyed from the expansive lanai as well as from many rooms indoors. Our home is located at a 2000 foot elevation level which allows for mild year round temps and great sleeping weather! Just a 15 min drive to sandy beaches, Kailua downtown or Kona airport.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Kaloko Mauka is a quiet neighborhood of multi acre estates with sunset and ocean views. A rural feel, yet just a 12 min drive to Costco and other shopping. Wild turkeys, pheasants, grouse and numerous varieties of birds roam the property.
Additional information
We have beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, boogie boards as well as numerous lawn games for your use. We have maps and guide books as well as insider tips to make your visit more enjoyable.
We would consider a car exchange during simultaneous reciprocal exchanges.
Our guest cottage (Waiopai Cottage) will be our primary exchange property but our main house (Marlin Lodge) could =be available for specific reciprocal exchanges to our preferred destinations as schedules permit.
Our property is gated and we would provide you with a remote for your convenience.
