What you will love about this home
Our house offers a lot of space for different activities and many possibilities to rest, relax and let your soul dangle.
Our loft is on the ground floor.
On the 1st floor are our office with two spacious workstations, our excellently equipped kitchen, a small toilet and a large living room with dining area. In a large cupboard below the stairs there are toys which can be used in the living room or in the upper rooms. From the living room there is access to the winter garden and the terrace. A door leads into our garden.
On the 2nd floor there are two bathrooms. The smaller bathroom has a bathtub. The bigger bathroom has a shower. Four bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Three rooms are each equipped with a double bed. One room offers two beds in the form of a bunk bed.
We have transformed a former painter's workshop into a multifunctional room, our loft. Refrigerator, kettle, separate WC with washbasin, sofa, tables and sleeping air mattresses are present. In our small loft you can dance, meditate, listen to music, move and train with different material (e.g. gymnastic balls, jump ropes, training rubber bands, dumbbells). A ping-pong table can be set up. A beamer and a screen are available for cinema or computer games.
Bicycles, kickboards, skateboards, summer sports and play equipment (e.g. badminton, boccia, frisbee, unihockey sticks...) as well as ski and winter sports equipment (e.g. snowshoes) can be used.
Our garden and terrace offer various places to sit and relax (e.g. pergola, hammock, deck chairs) in the shade or in the sun. Fire can be made on the gravel court in the fire bowl and cooked or grilled over the fire. A gas grill and a wood-burning stove are also available for culinary delights. We cultivate our garden organically and according to the permaculture principle. In our winter garden there is a wood-burning stove, which provides fireplace atmosphere and warmth.
Toys for indoors and outdoors are available for all ages (e.g. Playmobil, doll toys, bubble material, balls, tires, shop, building blocks, Lego, toy cars and trains, disguises ...).

Our house is located in Eastern Switzerland in the canton of St. Gallen in the Toggenburg region. Ebnat-Kappel is a village in the countryside. Between the mighty Säntis massif and the peaks of the seven Churfirsten, where the Thur and Necker rivers flow, lies Toggenburg. A fairytale world behind the seven mountains. This is Ebnat Kappel. Only an hour from Lake Constance and Zurich, the dreams of nature lovers seeking relaxation come true. Ebnat-Kappel lies 650 metres above sea level in the middle of Toggenburg. The romantic mountain landscape, the grandiose backdrop of the seven Churfirsten mountains, of the Speer (highest Nagelfluhberg in Europe 1950 m.a.s.l.) and the Säntis massif, as well as the Thurtal characterize this landscape in all seasons.
Public transport (train and bus) can be reached from our house in a few minutes. Shopping facilities, bakeries and restaurants are available in Ebnat-Kappel. Smaller and larger summer and winter sports areas as well as leisure activities for the whole family are on our doorstep. Ebnat-Kappel itself has an outdoor swimming pool, the Senses Park (forest adventure park for the whole family), a ski lift, a museum and many opportunities to be in nature.
Larger cities such as St.Gallen, Wil or Zurich can be reached within an hour. Lake Constance and high mountains such as Säntis and Chäserugg are also nearby. From Ebnat-Kappel you can make day trips to other Swiss regions. Our neighbouring countries (Germany, France, Italy and Austria) invite you for an excursion.
