What you will love about this home
The home is setback from the street behind an automated gate which provides both privacy and security. There is another large home and casita in the compound. There are 3 bedrooms / 3 Bathrooms + half bath. There is a rented attached casita which has its own private entrance. High cielings and cantera stone used throughout. Terraza with views of San Antonio church Picacho mountains and full sunsets. Cable and internet throughout the house, washing machine and clothes dryer 55 inch flat screen smart TV in living room and master bedroom and smaller smart TVs in each bedroom. Gas log fireplaces in each bedroom and in the living room. Boveda ceilings in kitchen and master bedroom. Living room and dining room look out onto a front patio with sitting area and plants. Fully equipped modern kitchen boveda ceiling, granite counter tops, side by side refrigerator, gas stove, microwave. Ground floor consists of master bedroom with boveda ceiling and marbled master bath with jacuzzi bath tub, guests bath, kitchen, living room and patio. The living room area includes large cantera gas fireplace and a drop leaf dinning table which accommodates 8. Kitchen island accommodates 4. Second floor consist of 2 guest bedrooms with marble ensuite baths and patio. Third floor has a 2000 square foot plant filled terraza, covered barbeque and sitting area with gas fire pit plus 360 degree view of churches and sunsets.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Mixed american-canadian-mexican neighborhood with small tiendas(fruiteria, tortillaria and carniceria) and three restaurants all within three blocks. With a ten minute walk you will find three wonderful bakeries Italian and French plus several more restaurants. The home is a flat 12 minute walk to the famous Instituto de Allende and a 20 minute flat walk to the famous Parrochia in el centro.The bus stops in front of the entrance to the house every 15 minutes and takes you to El Centro. The fare is 8 pesos, about 40 cents. Taxis are very inexpensive and pass by constantly.
Additional information
Josefina is our wonderful maid. She works in the house 2 days per week and she is in the compound 5 days per week. She is cheerful and completely at your service. She also is a wonderful cook of Mexican food. She can shop for you and cook breakfast or anything else. Just give her a days notice.
