What you will love about this home
A wonderful mountain experience: living in a renovated Swiss farm dating back to the 18th century, with all modern comforts. The breathtaking view from the terrace is unique, in summer as well as in winter. There is a wonderful lake where you can swim in summer, and in winter there are sledge slopes, as well as ski slopes and cross country ski slopes at easy reach. There are a couple of restaurants I would highly recommend: one called Restaurant Raten to try Swiss cuisine (Cheese fondue and Raclette) and can be reached through the forest (alternatively 5 mins by car) the other one is in downtown Unterägeri, it is call Chilli House and has the most delicious thai food in the area. In summer it is also nice to have an apero by the lake after a good swim at the Sonnenschmatz. The ideal solution and the one we always choose in summer could also be to get take away food and enjoy it on the fire-lit torches terrace with the view of the Alps and the lake while listening to some good chill-out music... ^____^ We have provided the house with a baby bed for our little Exchangers :)))))
What you will love about this neighborhood
Our Swiss farm is located in the lovely area of Im Böschi, above the Lake Ägeri and Oberägeri. The views are breathtaking, the air is pure and relax is guaranteed. You will find yourself in such a magic place simply made to unwind and reconnect with nature. There are a few villas around our house. Just in front of the doorstep we have several hiking trails and do not miss the fantastic Swiss restaurant after a nice walk through the forest, where you can taste local food just like a local. In summer, grab your towel and go swimming in the fantastic Ägeri lake. In Winter, take our sledge and enjoy the fresh snow that falls almost daily in our mountains.
