This is a modern flat in a recent building. Althought it is located in a quiet place is near the city centre and has a bus stop and a railway station in the neighborhood.

This elegant flat in a SPA city is perfect to stay either you want visit great places in West Cost (Caldas Rainha, Óbidos, Peniche, Nazaré, Alcobaça) or you prefer bigger cities (Lisboa, Leiria, Santarém). It's easy and quick arrive there by car, bus or train.
Caldas da Rainha is a historic city in the centre of Portugal and it is on the coast. It is about 80 km from Lisbon. This city is famous for the thermal water. There is the oldest Thermal Hospital in Europe with more than 500 years. Arount it there is a great park and a forest.
Caldas da Rainha is also know for the art and culture. If you like ceramics and painting you should visit "São Rafael House-Museum" and "José Malhoa Museum". If you prefer shopping can't miss "Praça da Fruta", a place where several people, who live around the city, sell their fruits and vegetables. You also will find another products like bread, cakes, cheese, flowers... Are you sweet tooth? Try out sweets called Trouxas de Ovos, Cavacas and Beijinhos.
Near this city are two beaches called Foz do Arelho and São Martinho do Porto.
Portuguese West Cost has many other interesting places to visit.
