What you will love about this home
Sorry no Guest Points at the moment. Our lovely penthouse is part of a tasteful redevelopment of a large Victorian building in the heart of Ulverston, a picturesque market town located at the southern end of Cumbria. It is situated on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 2nd floor contains two double bedrooms (one super king) and a 3 piece bathroom suite. The 3rd floor features a most attractive open area featuring the living room, kitchen, dining area, a partially screened off master bedroom (super king), a bathroom with bath and separate shower (also partially screened) as well as a third WC. Please note that there is no lift in the building and so wheelchair access is not possible.
There is on-street parking directly outside the property which is restricted to one hour between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. We can also recommend other free parking areas further away from the building.

What you will love about this neighborhood
You will find an abundance of independent shops, pubs cafés and restaurants as well as supermarkets all within 5 mins walking distance from our property
There are many delightful walks around the town but we would strongly recommend that you walk up to the Hoad Monument that clearly overlooks the town. We would also recommend a walk along our canal (once the shortest and straightest canal in the UK) down to where it meets the sea at Canal Foot.
Lovers of vintage black and white comedy may be interested to know that Stan Laurel was born in Ulverston and the Laurel & Hardy Museum is located close to the town centre and less than 5 mins walk from the property.
Immediately south is the Furness Peninsula. We'd recommend an easy drive along the coast road to Piel Island (ferry access) and Walney Island (bridge access).
Only 10 minutes drive to the North is The beautiful Lake District National Park with the closest lake being Coniston Water. Coniston village is about 25 mins away.
People travel from afar to enjoy all it's pleasures, splendour and adventure.
The Lake District is an area of outstanding beauty; full of breathtaking and spectacular landscapes.
Indeed, there is something for everybody here!
