What you will love about this home

We have a newly renovated open concept, bright, modern apartment with an outstanding view of the mountains in a superb location. Three comfortable bedrooms all with single beds. In the bright amazing living area there is a sofa/bed (2x 80cm beds) that can be used for a couple. You will have access to a big balcony with a gas BBQ, plants, sitting area and tranquil view over the neighbourhood and the mountains. Two bathrooms, one with bathtub and the other with shower and double sinks. Oak hardwood floors in the living space, hallways and two bedrooms, ceramic tiles in the kitchen, a modern fireplace, a laundry room to use downstairs with washer and dryer, two parking spaces plus a closed garage and a large shared garden space with playhouse, swing, slide and trampoline in under the trees. Only five apartments in this small building in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Car exchange is negotiable, We have a 2016 Renault Twingo that can transport 4 people. Use of women's high quality ebike and sea kayak can be discussed.

What you will love about this neighborhood

We live in a quiet residential neighbourhood a ten minute walk from the centre of a small but pleasant French speaking town of 25,000 (Bulle) in the heart of the tourist region of Gruyère. This area is known for its fantastic cheese and chocolate, fine hiking and biking opportunities, beautiful mountain scenery, authentic Swiss culture with many traditional festivals. It is well suited for those who like the outdoors (skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, thermal baths, etc.) but who also like to enjoy cultural activities such as visiting wineries, Castles, going to musical events, or visiting larger cities such as Lausanne, Fribourg, Bern, Montreux (Jazz Festival in the summer), Vevey, Neuchâtel or even Geneva. They are all within easy reach for day trips.
