Casita Carmona is our home away from home, located 20 minutes from SJO airport and one hour away from the beach and 5 minutes from CAR/Liga soccer fields. A perfect location to use as a base while visiting other parts of Costa Rica.
Located in a small town close to restaurants and stores.
Our home is situated on one acre which is part of a Quinta that is owned by family. You’ll enjoy beautiful grounds with access to a creek.
Our home is fully furnished with modern decor and appliances.

Our home is located on a family Quinta about 3 miles from Turrucares, a small typical Costa Rican town with restaurants & shops enjoyed by Ticos.

Rancho with foosball, ping pong table and BBQ Area.
We value guests leaving our home as it was upon their arrival. Since this apartment is our secondary home and to ensure our home is cleaned, sanitized and ready for the next guest we ask for a $25 CLEANING FEE paid via Venmo/Zoom/PayPal…or ?
Things to Know:
Costa Rica is a beautiful tropical paradise. This also means there are bugs, ants, geckos, etc. who may find their way into our home. No worries….they’re harmless.
Even though our home is in the country, it is close to highway 27 that takes you to the beach. Although convenient, this also means it can be noisy….especially from truck drivers who like their air-brakes!
Most likely you flew over our home when you landed in Costa Rica. This also means our home is in the flight path of planes flying into San Jose.
Dogs….there are a lot of dogs in Costa Rica! Including the ones who are on the property and surrounding area. Yuko, our schnauzer mix dog….loves people and may adopt you if you feed him.

Please turn off when not in the house.
6. Hot Water—Showers Only
On demand hot water systems, the less pressure the hotter the water and vice versa.
7. TV- For your convenience we have local over the air channels as well apps through WiFi.
8. Cameras They are grounds security cameras, no inside cameras.
9. Mini Super/Store:

13. Best App for getting around in Costa Rica is WAZE If you are not going to have cell coverage, it is best to download the region you are going to travel in from google maps before you are away from WIFI.
