Welcome to The Overlook Beach Retreat! This property is a beach lovers oasis. Situated 1.3 miles to the Cherry Grove Beach access in North Myrtle Beach SC makes it the perfect spot! It is a 2250 sq foot home with two king beds, one queen bed, daybed with trundle that converts to a king, as well as a futon. Not to mention three separate living room/ den/Carolina Room areas each with its own 65 inch flat screen and plenty of comfortable seating, which provides separation from couples or separation from the kids! We all know how important that is, especially on vacation. Each area has its own comfortable seating for several guests. We do allow small pets in the climate controlled Carolina Room or the Sunroom if you’re not from the South! It it is set up perfect for small pets with a concrete floor, pet gate closure to the rest of the home and a small doggy door to the fenced in back yard. We know first hand how hard it is to travel with pets with all the extra fees and trying to walk them in a new area, not to mention them marking their new territory! The property is set up perfectly for animals and you can rest easy knowing your pets are safe and comfortable while truly enjoying your vacation instead of worrying about your fur babies constantly. We have designated the Sunroom for animals so that the rest of the home can be safe for people with allergies. We do require a small one time refundable pet deposit. Refundable after the home and yard has been inspected by the cleaners that nothing has been damaged and that you have properly cleaned up behind your animals. We only ask that you treat our home as you would want us to treat yours. The home feels so spacious and allows parties to relax without being on top of each other. There is also an office area with a desktop computer if you work all the time like us! We have a lovely outdoor area with a covered patio. You will find plenty of seating around the gas fire pit perfect for s’mores. You will also have access to our grill and smoker while staying in our home as well as the two fire pits. One is gas and the other is wood for your preference. The 5 person hot tub at the back of the property is great for the parents but kid friendly too. I have tried to set the mode with lighting and you can easily close it in for privacy from the neighbors for some down time after a hot day at the beach. At times our 2022 four seater golf cart will be available for an extra fee. Just ask if that’s something you’re interested in. It’s so helpful for taking all your stuff to the beach and we have a sticker on the windshield that will allow you to have free parking in the city of North Myrtle Beach so you won’t have to worry about paying for parking while out and about.

We live in a safe community of mostly vacation homes. Some of the neighbors are full time but most aren’t. It is a non HOA community that was mostly mobile homes but is slowly being replaced with raised beach houses. It’s a curious mix of people from all over but I am a proud local! I have been in this area my whole life and I can honestly say that you will feel completely safe and at home here. The neighbors are rarely there and if they are home they look out for each other, but also mind their business as well, which I love!! Not enough neighbors like that anymore!! The road the home is on dead ends so only people who live in the community would be coming by. No busy streets to worry about either. We are just off Sea Mountain Highway in Cherry Grove in the area behind The Shack Restaurant. There is a tennis court and a park within walking distance. Not to mention restaurants, and attractions. We are happy to offer recommendations since we are locals we know all the best spots!!
