Lo que te va a encantar en esta casa
Our home is all about the view--magnificent western view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains with cruise ships, ferries, sailboats and cargo ships passing continually. The living room is cozy with books and a fireplace. Remodeled in 2021, the kitchen has an induction cooktop and new appliances. The primary bedroom has a king bed and two windows to enjoy the view when you wake up in the morning. Its en-suite bathroom includes a tiled shower with bench. In the guest room there's a desk and a queen bed. The guest bathroom has a tub and shower. There's a TV room with several streaming services, a powder room and a laundry room. Arrangements might be made to use our EV or our Subaru Outback.
Lo que te va a encantar del barrio
We live in Edmonds, a seaside community in a scenic location north of Seattle. Our neighborhood is a very quiet and safe residential district with three forested parks within walking distance of our house. Downtown Edmonds and the waterfront are a five minute drive.
Some things to do right in Edmonds include the Olympic Ballet, live theater, an old-fashioned cinema, Cascade Symphony Orchestra and a variety of performances at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. You can fish at the public pier, picnic at the beach, browse the shops or take the ferry to Kingston and head to Olympic National Park.
Washington State’s first certified Creative District, downtown Edmonds has museums and galleries, restaurants and coffee shops, distillers and breweries, performance venues and public art, boutiques and gardens.
You will find many festivals and activities throughout the year including Art Walk, Urban Craft Uprising, Saturday Summer Market, Summer Wine Walks, Edmonds Art Festival, 4th of July parade, free public concerts all summer, Taste Edmonds, PorchFest, Puget Sound Bird Fest, Classic Car Show, Art Studio Tour, Oktoberfest and Holiday Tree Lighting.
It’s about 15 miles to downtown Seattle to visit the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Seattle Art Museum and Seattle Aquarium or anything else you want to see there. Driving is the best option but you can also take the train from downtown Edmonds to King Street Station near the sports stadiums.
Our home is a great base for exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Within a few hours drive are not only Olympic National Park, but also Mount Rainier National Park and North Cascades National Park. You can take the ferry to the San Juan Islands or drive up to British Columbia to visit Vancouver or Victoria. Many mountain trails are nearby. Natural beauty is everywhere so if you enjoy nature, this is the place for you.
