Casa Estrela is an idyllic beach house built on a dune with breathtaking views of the Indian ocean and offers a peaceful respite but is close to a few lovely beaches and interesting areas to explore. If Casa Estrela is not available there are 3 more similar houses to choose from at Reef Resort.
Casa Estrela has a large verandah overlooking the ocean with a splash pool and braai area. From the verandah, you enter the spacious open plan kitchen, living area and dining room (there is a separate scullery) and then leading off from there are the three airconditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is covered parking for up to 2 vehicles adjacent to the house.

Each air-conditioned, self-catering beach house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open plan kitchen, living and dining room with LCD TV with DSTV (guesthouse package), a microwave, gas stove/oven, washing machine, tumble drier as well as its own splash pool, braai area, covered parking, and breathtaking ocean views.

Reef Resort is a fantastic holiday destination in Praia de Xai Xai with luxury accommodation in cozy and immaculate beach houses, stunning sea views, 50m from the beach, restaurant & bar, and is easily accessible (regular vehicles can make it, 4x4's not required).
Praia de Xai-Xai is 220km north of Maputo and 280km from the Ressano Garcia/Leblmbo (Komatipoort) border post with beautiful beaches, dunes, perfect conditions for deep sea and shore fishing, friendly restaurants and bars. The bay has a reef that runs parallel to the beach for many kilometers and creates a protected swimming and snorkeling area.
There are a few freshwater lakes within half an hour's drive where kayaking, paddle skiing and windsurfing can be enjoyed. The Wenela Tidal Pool and Blowhole is around 1,5km south of the main beach.
Mozambique has a tropical climate with hot summers and mild winters.
During our winter months from May to November, humpback whales visit our part of the world and can be easily seen from the comfort of your balcony.
A refundable breakage fee of 4,000MZN is payable in cash and refunded same on departure.
Daily cleaning service is availsble at 500MZN per day. Casa Estrela accommodates a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children on a double bunk bed. We have a campcot available for guests use.

Casa Estrela is situated on a resort very close to a few beautiful beaches. The resort offers deep sea fishing, whale watching excursions (May to Nov), snorkelling and kayaking is possible. Casa Estrela is within walking distance to a great seafood restaurant (on the premises). There are 1-2 more restaurants within a close walking distance and 1-2 more a short drive away. Xai Xai main town (for groceries, fuel) is 15km away.
