This is not our primary residence. It is primarily a beach cottage type house. Light and airy with simple furnishings, and a short walk from the main Scottburgh beaches. There is a lovely braam/barbecue deck for outdoor eating and entertaining! and the additional outside showers are a hit with guests staying in the summer

The house is close to Scottburgh and yet not in town. It sits on the hill behind the Cutty Sark Hotel, which is a well-known landmark in the area. The house is very close to the launch sites for the world-famous Dive site- the Aliwal Shoal.

Please note that if you want to visit anytime from 10 Dec-10 Jan there is a 6-night minimum stay required as it's very popular in that time. This house is perfect for groups of divers who want to chill in comfort after a great day of diving. Note that there is a lovely friendly dog living at the house. She is cared for by a person who lives in an outhouse, but works elsewhere so will not interrupt your stay at all. He lives on the property- for security. You can walk Lulu ( the dog ) if you wish but she needs extra special care and a harness as she is very strong and loves to run free. Please do not take her off the harness on the beach unless you are a very experienced dog person and can control her.
