What you will love about this home
Our house is located in a lovely panoramic position overlooking the village of Brisighella which is known as one of the most beautiful medieval hill villages of Italy. The house is beautifully appointed and was recently completely refurbished. We have two bathrooms, one with a large walk in shower and the other with an extra large bath - both have toilets and bidets.
There are three bedrooms -two with double beds and one with two single beds. There is also a double sofa bed downstairs in the living area. One of the bedrooms has wonderful panoramic windows with views over the valley and vineyards. The kitchen is large and very modern clean and bright with a large table for dining indoors. There is also a very large outdoor terrace with dining table seating up to 8 people and a lounge area with 4 wicker armchairs.

What you will love about this neighborhood
This area is known for its production of particularly good quality olive oil which can be bought at the local cooperative in Brisighella. It is also a gourmet paradise known for its many excellent restaurants. We are just 20 km from the border with Tuscany and there is a wonderful train journey from Brisighella to Florence in around 1 and half hours right through the mountains with spectacular views for around 8 euros! We are the province of Ravenna which is around one hours drive in the other direction to visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites there with their beautiful mosaics. Faenza is our local town around 15 minutes away. It is really a great place to experience a non touristy ideal Italian lifestyle. Faenza is famous for its centuries old craft of ceramics and has an international ceramics museum, There are many daytrips possible from our house; the Regional Park of local geology (Parco della Vena del Gesso) is very interesting or you could drive further afield to do some serious walking in the Apennines in the Foresta Casentinese...or the waterfall of Aquaqueta, a very popular local beauty spot.
The Adriatic coast is one hour away and we recommend the resorts of Cervia and Cesenatico which are particularly nice in the summer and a great place to eat fish of course.
If you want to experience city life then Bologna one of the most historic cities of Italy is a 45 minute drive or if you prefer just half an hour by train from Faenza.
Many visitors seem to just love exploring and walking around Brisighella itself . In the summer there is a lovely outdoor swimming pool surrounded by pine trees.
