Our guest bedroom is a tranquil retreat, featuring a private entrance, a spacious verandah, an original Edwardian fireplace, elegant bay windows, and a large bathroom with a walk-in closet. Spanning an impressive 80 sqm, the room is thoughtfully separated from the main house, ensuring privacy and a sense of openness.
Designed for both comfort and functionality, the room includes a plush king-sized bed with an antique headboard, a large desk for remote work, and a stylish three-seater modern bubble sofa—perfect for unwinding.
Neutral tones, high-quality finishes, and warm wood flooring create a soothing, sophisticated atmosphere.
The expansive bathroom is equipped with a shower, basin, walk-in closet, and a heated towel rail for added luxury.
A space like this is a rare find—crafted with timeless elegance and modern comfort in mind. This is a five-star guest suite by any standard.

Travel back in time to the 1900s, and wake up every day in a period somewhere between the reign of Queen Victoria and her successor, King Edward. Tenderly restored and preserved, the home has lovingly maintained its original features, capturing the elegance of a bygone era.
Situated on a generous 1575m² plot, this magnificent Edwardian residence, built in 1902, embodies architectural splendor and timeless allure.
From the moment you step into your beautiful room, you're embraced by a sense of history and sophistication. This home is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience, seamlessly blending historic charm with modern comforts. With its stunning wraparound verandah, original fireplace, dramatic sash windows, and original Baltic Timber floors, this extraordinary property is your gateway to living in a piece of architectural history.
Our garden:
The low-maintenance garden offers tranquil spaces, including a private courtyard with ponds, a pool area, and enchanting sections reminiscent of an English secret garden. Established trees, shrubs, and creeping jasmine enhance the peaceful ambiance.
230 sq m of verandah is the highlight of the outdoor area which has multiple seating options for all weather to enjoy sundowners or a cup of coffee.
There is a Weber BBQ/braai available for those who would like to braai.

This is a home with great warmth and charm. It is decorated and furnished with pieces that we have collected from our travels around the world. It is a relaxed space and one where we want you to feel totally at home. It is an interesting and eclectic home with attention to detail; something a bit different.

Claremont is a leafy suburb that is often described as the heart of Cape Town. Close to everything, it is 15 minutes to beaches, Table Mountain, and the city.
Claremont has a host of great shops and restaurants including a large mall with a cinema. Being right next door to Constantia it will take you approximately 15 mins to be in the middle of a vineyard.
Claremont is a very mixed suburb with lots of students due to the proximity to the University of Cape Town, but also with many young professionals and families.
Claremont offers easy access to all the main attractions of Cape Town and is on the doorstep of the national botanical gardens, Kirstenbosch.
