Quiet green neighborhood
We live in a 'Woonerf' neighborhood, where cars are not allowed to park in front of the houses. We have a small garden both at the front and the back of the house, allowing you to enjoy the sun all day long. The backyard is small but cozy, fully sheltered, and private. The house has both a front and a back entrance.
Through the front door, you enter a small hallway with a coat rack and a toilet. A glass door leads to the large, bright L-shaped living room. Here, you’ll find a comfortable large sofa and a big TV with a surround sound system. There is a large extendable dining table in the living area, which connects to the well-equipped open kitchen. Through the utility room—where the fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dryer are located—you can step right into the garden.
In the garden, there is a long wooden dining table and a smaller table with chairs for relaxing. Depending on the season, a large parasol and sunshades at both the front and back can be used when it gets really warm.
On the first floor, you’ll find the master bedroom with a double bed consisting of two separate mattresses and one large duvet; both the head and foot sections of the bed are adjustable per mattress. On the same floor, there is a second bedroom with a single loft bed. The bathroom is also on this floor and includes a shower, sink, and a second toilet.
The large room on the second floor has a double bed. All our beds are equipped with comfortable, high-quality mattresses and duvets.
There is WiFi on every floor. On both the first and second floors, there are small office spaces that remain closed.

Our house is located in Diemen, a green and quiet suburb-town "attached" to Amsterdam, close to the train station making it a great base for exploring. Diemen has a large shopping center just a 10-minute walk away, with all the stores you might need.
The family home (ground floor and two upper floors) is in a quiet, low-traffic residential area. Diemen is right next to Amsterdam. From our house, you can walk to the train station in 5 minutes, and 10 minutes later, you’ll be at Amsterdam Central Station, in the heart of the city. This train runs four times per hour and connects to Amsterdam Central Station (10 min) and Schiphol Airport (35 min, with one transfer at Amsterdam CS).

We primarily use bicycles to get around Amsterdam. A comfortable bike ride to the city center takes about 30 minutes. It’s also fun to take bike trips outside the city. Since we live on the edge of the urban area, you can quickly reach the countryside with charming villages.
Our two city bikes are, of course, available for use.
From Diemen Trainstation you have connections to several interesting touristic attractions and highlights. For instance, Amsterdam Zandvoort Beach is on forty-five trainminutes from our house.
