Was Sie an dieser Unterkunft lieben werden
We love our home as it is where we have raised our four children. It is full of windows letting in the natural light and with views to the hills, despite being in the city.
It is large and is heated by either a heat-pump or fabulous log fire.
We also have a fabulous large kitchen and all you need to do your own baking and cooking of meals.
Come and stay in our home and enjoy what Dunedin and the surrounding area has to offer. Beautiful Central Otago is also only 3- 3.5 away so not too far to get away for the weekend.

Was Sie im Nachbarschafts-Viertel lieben werden
Our home is in one of Dunedin's hill suburbs however with a bus stop right outside, it only takes 15minutes to get down to the central city shopping hub.
Other things you can enjoy are:
TUNNEL BEACH
Tunnel Beach is a locality 7.5 kilometres southwest of the
city centre of Dunedin, New Zealand. Located just south
of St Clair, Tunnel Beach has sea-carved sandstone cliffs,
rock arches and caves. Generally considered a moderately
challenging route, it takes an average of 47 min to complete.
LARNACH CASTLE
Built in the late-19th century by William Larnach, Larnach
Castle is New Zealand’s only castle. It’s been beautifully
refurbished and the grounds are carefully tended. The
views across the hills and water of the Otago Peninsula
are some of the best in the area. A trip to Larnach Castle
is a great way to spend a day while visiting Dunedin.
RAILWAY STATION
Made of bluestone with marble floors and stained glass
windows, the Dunedin Railway Station is one of
Dunedin’s most impressive buildings and purportedly the
most photographed in New Zealand. Far more than a
railway station, here you can also grab something to eat,
visit a sports museum, or photograph the attractive
building.
BALDWIN STREET
The South Island city of Dunedin was designed in the 19th
century using a grid system that took little account of the
area’s hilly topography. This resulted in some very
precipitous roads, including the famous Baldwin Street; not
only is it Dunedin’s most sloping route, it is officially the
steepest street in the world.
ALBATROSS COLONY
The Royal Albatross Centre, within Dunedin city limits on
the Otago Peninsula, is an ideal spot for nature viewing.
The center is home to the only mainland breeding colony of
these large birds in the world. Add a tour of the center to a
day trip out to the peninsula—a must-do activity while in
Dunedin.
SIGNAL HILL
Signal Hill is a 1,289-foot (393-meter) hill in North
Dunedin with a lookout providing sweeping views over
the city and Otago Harbour. As well as being a popular
place to drive or walk up, Signal Hill is one of Dunedin’s
premier destinations for mountain biking, with trails
available for a range of experience levels.
TOITU MUSUEM
Recently refurbished, the Toitu Otago Settlers Musuem is
a fascinating look at the life and times of Dunedin’s early
settlers. Because of its sheltered, deep water port and
fertile coastal plain, Dunedin was one of the South
Island’s earliest places where Europeans settled.
OTAGO MUSEUM
Tūhura Otago Museum is located near the city centre of
Dunedin, New Zealand, adjacent to the University of
Otago campus. The museum has one of the largest
collections in New Zealand, and is one of the city's leading
attractions.
WAL’S FUN LAND
A one-stop family entertainment destination in Mosgiel,
Wal's Fun Land is an easy place to spend an entire day
between the brand new living hedge maze modelled off the
famed Leeds Castle maze, mini-golf, mini-train (on
Sundays), real fruit ice-creams, cafe and plant nursery.
BIKE THE LOOP
Cycle The Loop around the Otago Harbour and visit some
of the best things to do in Dunedin, along the way. What a
way to spend a couple of hours, or the whole day!
Allow a minimum of 2 hours to 'cycle the loop' (Portobello
to Port Chalmers, including a 10-minute ferry crossing).
These are to name a few things you can enjoy. And don't forget the beautiful peninsula and many beaches.
