Was Sie an dieser Unterkunft lieben werden
Cozy and wonderfully appointed cottage in the "Old Town" section of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island Florida. The 5 year old home has a nice Master bedroom and a smaller guest bedroom. It is perfect for a single couple. It also has two full baths, the master bath includes a large walk in shower and a clawfoot soaking tub as well as twin pedestal sinks with mirrors. The guest bath has a large walk in shower and single pedestal sink. The kitchen is lovely with new appliances and glass front cabinets. Our dining room has a crystal chandelier and antique china cabinets and table and chairs. Very cozy living room with comfortable seating for 6 with a large flat screen cable TV. Enjoy the large wrap porch with three separate sitting/eating areas that sit 4 at each. There is also a fun outdoor shower which is great to rinse off in after the beach. The views from the front porch are lovely and include a long view over the marsh and Egan's Creek as well as stored sailboats in the marina across the street.

"Old town" is a historic area that was the last plated Spanish city in the New World. Its a great walking biking neighborhood with a wonderful mix of old historic homes and newer beautiful ones. At the end of our street is a small state park which is on a bluff overlooking the Amelia river (which doubles as the Intracoastal waterway). Beautiful sunsets most evenings. We are on the North end of the island on a peninsula that is bordered by the Amelia river and Egans Creek with its three small marinas. A short mile and 1/2 drive or bicycle ride from Historic Fernandina Beach allows you to really enjoy this wonderful town. We also have two kayaks for your use. They can be conveniently launched from several spots around the island, especially the drop in a few hundred yards from our home on Egans Creek.
